About Me Dochtor Kennedy has always had an instinct for entrepreneurship. He graduated with a MBA in Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In May 2013, Kennedy founded First Light Financial, LLC. His company composed fully-document claims requesting grants of expungement on behalf of the firm’s clients and prepared them as well as his staff for the expungement proceedings. Kennedy believed that anyone’s practice and family is equally entitled to the same capital assurance as anyone else in the U.S. He then became the Managing Attorney at AdvisorLoans and represented financial advisors who had Federal or State tax liens filed against them. He also provided advisors with representation through the Rule 2080 process. In February 2016, Kennedy wanted to start his own law firm and therefore, established AdvisorLaw, LLC n Broomfield, Colorado. Kennedy supervises a group of talented lawyers who work to expunge cases against FINRA licensed professionals. They use FINRA Rule 2080 arbitration for Customer Dispute expungement and Employment Separation After Allegations modification/removal. Kennedy is well-versed in financial modeling, start-up ventures, persuasive writing, and legal and financial analysis and has an extensive background in both the equity-capital and debt-capital markets. When he’s not working with his fellow law partners, Kennedy enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two dogs.
