Jessica Tippens Jess Tippens is licensed as a registered architect by the Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners and certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards and the United States Green Building Council. Additionally, she is a EcoDistricts Accredited Professional and boasts extensive technical skills including REVIT, vectorworks, autocad, sketchup, adobe illustrator, indesign, photoshop, and acrobat. Perhaps most notably though, Jess is known among colleagues for her leadership and time management, which has been instrumental in her efforts to run her own design and consulting services firm, loess architecture llc, while working for various groups like Nano LLC and Studio WTA. Though she has multiple projects that have been recognized by New Orleans Magazine and been featured in the Architectural Record, two of her most recent projects include a renovation design for a historic Bywater home and a master plan for rebuilding Long Beach Medical Center after Superstorm Sandy. Jess describes herself as a passionate person with a lot of integrity. While her career is very important to her, nothing comes before her devotion to her family and the various causes she believes in from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America to the Environmental Working Group. In her free time, she enjoys painting, hiking, and attending events at the JCC New Orleans, where she and her family are members.
